A####.## Tender Invitation Notice Period: ##th June #### to #nd July #### Tender Invitation Notice Dear Sirs, TKOI Phase I Greenfield Data Center Development in Hong Kong Tender Invitation Notice – Expression of Interest in Tender for Supply and Installationof UPS Systemfor #/F and #/F Data Hall Nominated Sub-Contract On behalf of the Employer, China Telecom Global Limited, we are pleased to invite your Company to express interest in tendering for the Supply and Installation of UPS System For #/F and #/F Data Hall Nominated Sub-Contract for the captioned Project. For your information, the project particulars are as follows: - #. Project : Supply and Installation of UPS System For #/F and #/F Data Hall Nominated Sub-Contract #. Location : At Site in TKO InnoPark #. General Description : of the Scope Supply and installation of Work, including UPS System, as described in Technical Specification and shown on Drawings The tender document and any other information supplied on request in connection with and relating to the Project constitute confidential information (“Confidential Information”) for the purposes of this tender and, accordingly, you shall hold the Confidential Information to be received in complete confidence and shall be liable for any loss suffered by the Employer arising from your unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information. Should you be interested to tender for the captioned works and accept your confidentiality obligations as stated in above paragraph, please send an email to Mr. Cedric But (cedric. ### k.rlb.com) to get the link for download of tender document on or before #nd July####, and submit the required information according to the guideline in “Conditions of Tendering”, on or before ##:## noon ##th July####to the Employer’s office (Attention: Mr. Ivan Chan, ##/F Everbright Centre, ### Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong). Late tenders may not be accepted. If there is a controlling (i.e., one applicant directly or indirectly holding ##% or more of shares of another applicant) or management relationship between the applicant and another applicant, these applicants shall not separately submit proposals to the same tender and they shall also not submit proposals to different tenders within a project of the Employer. Should you have any query, please feel free to contact on or before ##:## noon #th July ####: - Mr. Cedric But (+### ####-####, cedric. ### k.rlb.com) Please note that the following submissions are essential for this tender: a) Details of the tenderer (or each member of the consortium) including valid business registration certificate or business license, names of parent holding company and subsidiary companies (if any); b) Financial data of tenderer (or each member of the consortium) for the Year ####, #### ####. Provide audited financial statements of the company covering the three full years of ####, #### and ####; c) Record of Court/ Arbitration cases which the tenderer (or each member of the consortium) is a party with claim of money more than HK$##,### from ####.##.## to ####.##.## in relation to the construction project in Hong Kong. Such Litigation record of the company has to be certified by qualified law firm. These Court/ Arbitration cases shall be categorised by whether the tenderer is the defendant or the plaintiff; d) The project programme submitted shall meet the two key milestones as specified in the tender documents; e) Written confirmation for: (#) The tenderer (or any member of the consortium) is listed as a registered electrical contractor in the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Service Department. The tenderer‘s current status is gazetted for any disciplinary action. (#) The tenderer (or each member of the consortium) are NOT being suspended from tendering by Hong Kong Development Bureau in Uninterruptible Power Supply Installation Category in approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works list. (#) Tenderer (or any member of the consortium) shall be the UPS manufacturer, Manufacturer"s documentation/ certification materials shall be provided (including but not limited to the manufacturer"s country or region, establishment location). (#) If the tenderer (or any member of the consortium) is both the manufacturer of LVSB and lead-acid batteries, it must provide manufacturer"s description materials, otherwise it must also provide manufacturer"s description materials and original authorization letter issued by the corresponding equipment manufacturer. (#) This Tender process allows consortium bidding. If the tenderer is a consortium, it must meet the following requirements: a. Each member of the consortium shall sign a consortium agreement according to the format specified in the tender document, clearly defining the leadership role of the leading member and specifying the rights-authority obligations of all parties involved; b. Each member of the consortium shall neither participate individually nor join any other consortiums for participation in this tender, under their own name or through authorized agents(s). (#) Not forming joint-venture with other company to participate in this tender. Please note that the following submissions are essential for this tender return: (cont’d) f) The tenderer must provide after-sales service confirmation letters issued by the manufacturers of UPS, LVSB, and lead-acid batteries. The after-sales service confirmation letter must include the following: a. Confirming that the after-sales service of the selected equipment supports #*##-hour response service and #-hour on-site service for emergency failures b. Equipment maintenance will be provided by local Hong Kong engineers who meet the requirements, and that sufficient spare parts inventory will be retained in Hong Kong to cope with emergency maintenance and repairs.
